One Motion Only: Pull the Tray, Push It Back
There is a single action in this box. The tray comes out towards you and goes back in the same way. No lid is lifted, nothing is hinged, and the sleeve never opens at a second end.
That matters on a counter. A one-way drawer shows the piece the moment the tray clears the sleeve, and the customer closes it without being taught which side is up.
| Construction | Sleeve plus sliding tray, two pieces |
| Motion | Tray pulled out towards the customer, pushed back |
| Direction | One direction only |
| Not present | Lid, hinge, magnet, second opening |
| Outer size | 8 x 8 x 2.5 cm |
What an 8 x 8 x 2.5 cm Tray Holds Flat
The tray is shallow and square, which is the shape a bracelet wants. The piece lies flat in one layer instead of dropping into a deep well, so it reads as a piece on display rather than something stored.
| Bracelet or bangle | One piece centred, whole outline visible |
| Folded chain | Coiled into the tray with room at the edges |
| Wide pendant | Lies flat with the chain beside it |
| Two thin pieces | Side by side where the insert allows |
A deep box is the wrong answer for this size of piece. If your line is rings and studs rather than bracelets, a smaller square or a flip box suits the piece better than an 8 cm drawer.
The Navy Ribbon Pull as a Handle, Not a Bow
The ribbon on the front of the tray is a handle. You pinch it and draw the tray out; it is not tied, and it is not a closure. The box stays shut because the tray sits inside the sleeve, not because anything is fastened.
| Function | Grip for pulling the tray out |
| Colour | Navy by default, matched to your brand on request |
| Not a | Bow, tie or closure |
| Fitting | Set into the front panel of the tray |
Blue Textured Paper Outside, Neutral White Tray Inside
The sleeve is wrapped in a blue specialty paper with a visible grain. Inside, the tray is neutral white, which keeps the piece the only thing with colour in it when the drawer is open.
Both parts are wrapped by hand over grey board. That is what keeps the sleeve corners square enough for the tray to run in and out without catching after a season of use.
| Sleeve | Blue textured specialty paper over rigid grey board |
| Tray | Neutral white, wrapped board |
| Corners | Turned by hand |
| Run | Tray checked by hand for a free, even slide |
The Black Blister Frame and the Clear Bag Over It
This build ships with a black blister frame inside the tray and a clear bag over the piece. The frame centres the item and stops it travelling; the bag keeps it clean and dust free.
It is the fastest way to hold a brooch, a pendant or a single earring in a tray that is otherwise empty, because the shape is set by the frame rather than by the box.
| Holding layer | Black blister frame |
| Protection | Clear bag over the item |
| Effect | Centred piece, no movement in transit |
| Best for | Brooches, pendants, single earrings |
Going Plastic Free: EVA or a Moulded Paper Tray
If your market asks for a pack without plastic, the box does not change. Only the layer inside it does. We replace the blister and the bag with EVA foam cut to your outline, or a moulded paper tray that holds the same shape.
The sleeve, the tray, the ribbon and the print stay exactly as they are, so the eco version is a decision made inside one box rather than a second development project.
| Default | Black blister frame plus clear bag |
| Plastic free option A | EVA foam slot cut to the piece |
| Plastic free option B | Moulded paper tray, same outline |
| Outside the tray | Unchanged |
Which Insert Suits Bracelets, Bangles and Chains
The tray is quoted without a fixed insert, and that is deliberate: the same 8 x 8 cm tray can hold a bangle in a cut slot or a chain laid loose, and the choice changes per SKU rather than per box.
| Bangle | EVA or paper slot cut to the outer diameter |
| Bracelet with a clasp | Slot plus a small recess for the clasp |
| Chain | Soft pad, chain coiled around the centre |
| Velvet finish | Pads covered in velvet where the piece touches |
Where a Logo Sits on an 8 cm Sleeve
The sleeve gives you one square face, 8 cm across, and that is where the mark goes. On a blue grain, the finish does the work.
| Foil stamping | Metallic mark; strongest contrast on blue |
| Screen printing | Flat colour, holds small type |
| Emboss or deboss | Tone on tone, read by touch |
| Spot UV | Gloss against the grain, catches light at an angle |
| Artwork | Mockup free, normally within one to three days |
From Drawing to Sample in Five to Seven Days
Artwork, a 3D mockup and the die drawing are free and come first, usually inside one to three days, with revisions until the shape is right. The physical sample then takes five to seven days.
Ask for the sample with your own piece in it where you can. A tray that looks correct on a drawing is not the same as one that releases a bangle comfortably.
Production Windows for a Ready-Made Size
The 8 x 8 x 2.5 cm size already exists, so there is no die to cut before the run starts. That keeps the schedule simple.
| Small run | 10 to 15 days |
| Standard run | 18 to 25 days |
| New insert die or peak season | 25 to 30 days |
| Minimum order | 300 pcs; 500 pcs where the size or insert is new to us, 1,000 pcs with a printed logo |
What We Inspect on a Drawer Box Run
Inspection happens against the sample you approved, on the bench, before anything is bagged.
| Slide | Every tray drawn and returned by hand; no catching, no slack |
| Colour | Sleeve matched batch to batch against the approved blue |
| Logo position and edge sharpness | |
| Insert | Frame or slot checked with your piece where a piece is supplied |
| Ribbon | Pull seating and stitching on the front panel |
Made in Baiyun, Wrapped by Hand
The box is produced in our own workshop in the Baiyun district of Guangzhou: about 5,000 sqm with more than 50 people, making paper packaging since 2004.
Wrapping, die cutting and finishing all run in house. When a wrap colour or an insert needs to change, it is handled at the machine instead of being sent out and re-scheduled.
The Paperwork Buyers Ask For First

| Carton | Corrugated export carton, layered to keep trays seated |
| Pallet | 120 x 100 cm pallet on request |
| Terms | EXW, FOB Nansha or DDP door delivery |

Start With a Free Drawing or a Sample
Send the piece, the quantity and the market you sell into, and we will come back with the box, the insert and the print quoted together. The drawing is free either way, and the free sample page route lets you hold the box first.
For the piece itself, sizing help sits on the FAQ page; for other formats in the same family, the wider range is under drawer box family, and bracelet-specific cuts live with the bracelet box box.
The workshop behind this box is described on the about page page, and the rigid drawer box family range covers the other drawer formats we build.
