Industry requirements
- Cosmetics. Powder and cream residue transfers to fabric. Cotton and linen release it on washing; velvet does not. If the pouch carries a liquid product, specify a coated or laminated inner or a separate inner bag.
- Corporate gifting. Uniformity matters more than finish. Dye lots shift between runs, so for a recurring program we dye all runs to one approved master sample.
- Hospitality. Pouches will be handled and washed repeatedly, so specify a tighter stitch density and reinforce the drawstring channel.
- Food-adjacent use. Our pouches are not food-contact packaging. For tea and dry goods, we supply the outer fabric bag around a sealed, food-grade inner pack.

Material & finishing
Compression embossing gives a relief logo on any of the fabrics listed above without adding ink or a transferred layer, which is useful when the same brand mark has to appear on both a cotton pouch and a velvet pouch in the same collection. Where you need color rather than relief, silk screen is the cheaper option at lower quantities and hot stamping is the choice for a metallic mark.
Production & delivery
Artwork and dielines are free and take 1-3 days. Sampling takes 5-10 days, with custom sample fees from US$50 to US$210. Once your order is placed, a free pre-production sample is confirmed by photo or video before mass production.
Production is 18-25 days for regular orders, 10-15 days for small runs and 25-30 days for specialty fabric, starting 1-3 days after sample approval. Pouches ship flat and light, so freight volume is low. We ship DDP door-to-door as standard with duty included; FOB Nansha and EXW Guangzhou are also available. FAQ
Which is better for cosmetics, cotton or velvet?
Cotton or linen. Powder and cream residue washes out of cotton but not out of velvet pile, and cotton does not shed fibers onto the product.
Can the pouch carry our logo in color?
Yes. Silk screen gives the lowest cost for solid colors, and hot stamping gives a metallic mark. Compression embossing gives relief only, with no color.
What is the minimum order quantity?
300 pcs for the standard version, 500 pcs when the size or design is customized, and 1,000 pcs when a logo, Pantone spot color or new moulding is required.
